What kinds of activities will ASPIREKids assist with?

Any extracurricular or normalcy activity that gives a child an opportunity to try something new or continue to grow in a particular area.  Sports camps, music camps, art classes and theater, prom/dance tickets, field trips are just a few.

*Note: Due to budget restrictions we are not able to commit to indefinite recurring expenses for monthly activities. We will work with the nominator to find an acceptable solution that best suits the needs of the child. Any scholarship greater than $350 requires board approval.

Is there a deadline for use of the scholarship?

We require that the child be registered for the activity requested before the registration deadline or within 45 days of the scholarship request whichever is sooner. If either date passes a new nomination form will need to be submitted.

Is there a limit to the number of scholarships available per child?

Scholarships are dependent upon fund availability and ASPIREKids receipt of a data survey after completion of the current activity.  The survey must be completed by a caretaker or nominator regarding the most recent scholarship received by the child.

What geographic area do we serve?
Currently ASPIREKids serves El Dorado County.

Is there a minimum donation?

There is no amount too small.  All funds will be pooled to provide scholarships to as many children as possible throughout the year.
